In the shed part 2
Now its back in the shed to fair the keel to hull seem with some glass and Low-Density filler. Originally the boat just had polyester fiberglass mat wrapped around the seam. We will now have several layers of epoxy glass mat as well as Low-Density filler for fairing. This should be way stronger than it ever was.
The last 5 pictures was the first layer of fairing. The first layer was sanded as flat as possible then the next layer was put on. The 2nd application is below. We will probably need to do this 3 times with a touch up after that. below are the pictures of the next application.
